**Sydney, Australia — \[7th September 2026]** — Emisha, a specialist in enterprise data management, governance and AI-ready data solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with Starburst, the analytics platform that provides businesses with a unified view of all data sources, enabling faster, more informed decision-making. The partnership brings together Emisha's data governance and quality expertise with Starburst's data access platform, giving enterprises across the Asia-Pacific region a more direct path to trusted, AI-ready data.

This is a significant step for both organisations and for the region: as more enterprises commit to cloud data platforms, lakehouses and generative AI, the ability to govern and trust that data at scale has become a defining factor in whether these initiatives succeed.

Australian and wider APAC organisations are increasingly investing in cloud data platforms, lakehouses and generative AI, yet many continue to be held back by fragmented data landscapes, inconsistent data quality and complex governance requirements, alongside tightening regulatory expectations around data privacy and sovereignty. The partnership addresses this challenge directly, combining Emisha's expertise in enterprise data strategy, governance, data quality, metadata management and master data management with Starburst's federated analytics layer. Together, the two organisations will enable customers to query data across data lakes, warehouses and operational systems without costly migration or duplication, while maintaining enterprise-grade governance over that data.

The partnership will focus on customers across Australia, New Zealand, India, Southeast Asia and the wider APAC region, helping them modernise their data estates without the need for costly data movement, while keeping that data governed, high-quality and ready for business use.

## Delivering Greater Value for Customers

Through this partnership, customers will benefit from:

* Accelerated AI and analytics through governed, trusted and real-time access to enterprise data across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
* Reduced data movement and lower costs as Starburst's federated data platform allows customers to run fast, federated SQL analytics across data lakes, warehouses and databases without moving or duplicating data, lowering infrastructure costs and time to insight.
* Trusted data for AI by combining enterprise-grade data quality, governance, metadata management and master data management with modern data access that is discoverable and compliant with regional regulations.
* Faster time to value through Emisha's regional delivery teams, proven implementation accelerators, industry best practice and reusable frameworks, which reduce implementation timelines and de-risk large-scale analytics modernisation programs for APAC enterprises.
* Stronger enterprise-wide data governance that gives business users the confidence to discover, understand and use trusted data assets.
* Scalable, modern data architecture to support cloud migration, lakehouse/iceberg initiatives, data products and enterprise AI programs.

Emisha will provide consulting, architecture, implementation, integration and managed services to help customers get the most value from their investment in Starburst. Drawing on its experience across financial services, telecommunications, retail, manufacturing, healthcare and the public sector, Emisha will help organisations design modern data architectures with governance, quality and compliance built in from the outset.

The partnership also supports integration with leading enterprise data management platforms, including governance, catalogue, lineage, master data management and data quality solutions, helping customers build a complete and trusted data environment.

_“Organisations across APAC are increasing their investment in AI and modern data platforms, but success depends on making trusted enterprise data available without unnecessary complexity. Emisha brings deep expertise in data governance, data quality and enterprise transformation that complements our platform well. Together, we look forward to helping customers gain faster insight, reduce infrastructure complexity and build a trusted foundation for AI.”_

**Darren Watkins, RVP, Sales APAC, Starburst**

_“The success of any AI initiative depends on the quality, accessibility and trustworthiness of the underlying data. Our partnership with Starburst allows organisations to modernise their data landscape without compromising on governance or quality. By bringing together Starburst's data platform with Emisha's expertise in data governance, master data management and data quality, we can help customers achieve their outcomes faster, with less risk and complexity. We are pleased to be supporting enterprises across the APAC region on their data modernisation journey.”_

**Vikram Tandon, Director, Emisha**

Together with Ataccama, we’re excited to launch the **SAP Data Quality Accelerator** — a pre-packaged approach designed to help organizations designed accelerate SAP data quality initiatives with pre-built capabilities for critical SAP master data domains **up to 80% faster**.

Built on the Ataccama ONE platform, the accelerator brings together **pre-configured data models, reusable data quality rules, profiling, cleansing and validation logic** for domains such as **Material, Customer and Supplier**, helping teams reduce implementation effort and achieve trusted SAP data faster.

The result? Less time defining and building DQ rules from scratch — and more time fixing the data issues that impact **S/4HANA migrations, SAP MDG programs, analytics and AI initiatives**.

For organizations embarking on SAP transformation, trusted data shouldn’t be an afterthought. It should be the starting point.
